scionicboom Posted September 14, 2012 Report Share Posted September 14, 2012 Ok fellas I drive a 2011 scion tc it's a hatch right now I run a fi sp4 15 and a cadence zrs c1 right now my box has one aero 6 inch diameter and 10 inches long and is facing the hatch I was going to build another box with more port area the box I have now is tuned at 33 and I do 142.9 in the kick now I was going to ask if u guys think if my sub is facing in and the port wud I get better numbers on the tl at around the same frequency ... I really like the lows and the drop I'd like to stay tuned low ...what's best for a hatch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
StoneCold455 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Share Posted September 14, 2012 I think both facing inside the car would be good, since the port allows both front and back of the subwoofer cone to make sound. you like lows this is best, but it will make punchy bass kind of harsh.
