Its a 1911 and its made by S&W I dont see why it would be bad. I dont have any personal experience with it but going off of S&W reputation and quality. I have a few different 1911's Colt, Springfield, Ruger, All basically the same Ruger being the "cheapest" its fit and finish is great never had any issues with it at all

The one I have you need the adapter. I didnt buy this so not sue what version I have LOL. But it only comes with a 17rd Ruger mag. If you want 30rd+ you need to go with the Glock mag

My pops walked into work the other morning and handed me this Ruger PC Carbine.. Its pretty sweet shoots well. Comes with an adapter for Glock mags.

Im looking at the Leupold VX-3i LRP 6.5-20 or the Vortex Viper HS LR 6-24. They are both about the same price. You get a better warranty with the Vortex though. My buddy might be able to get me a better price on the Leupold so im waiting on that right now
