LBM
Planning to put a second alternator in the ride soon !!! As mentioned earlier I have finally installed the second alternator in my ride. The voltage now is very much stable. So stable that it does not goes below 13 volts at full tilt. And returns to 14.0-14.2 as soon I reduce the sub !!! The RF 2500.1 are very efficient amps !!! Very happy with the result. The alt used here is Bosch 150 Amps Alternator doing approx 160 amps got it for approx Rs 6000 = $110. So the final combined current both alt give is 220 amps (Mechman) + 160 amps = 380 amps !!! More than what I need at the movement. I have installed switches to manual switch off the alternator if required . Like when the setup is not running and further reducing load on the engine !!! The bracket of the alternator. I made it myself. With the alt mounted another view mounted on the engine. both the alts current measured http://lbm.net.in
LBM
Not a single reply !!! Strange !!! One more thing the a/c pump was not removed to install this alt. The routing off the pipes are being changed !!! http://lbm.net.in
