FI Q 12 Sealed Enclosure????

I just bought an FI Q 12 with the high qts option and heat ring and was gonna put it in a sealed box i want SQ and the website recommends .8-1.5 cu. ft for sealed what is the optimum enclosure size for the best sq any help is appreciated.

i know the scale but where in the scale is gonna give me the best sq I'm gonna use a ZED Minotaur II at 2 oms so about 1300 rms

you can call Fi and ask for a more specific number

I believe that a bigger car likes a bigger enclosure. A smaller car a smaller enclosure.

sorry i have a bmw 328xi sedan so what would you suggest

Honestly I don't know much about FI's I have heard them in ported enclosure's and they sounded great.

Anyways in ur sedan it's gonna be in a trunk so I'd suggest running it on the bigger side.

Prob 1.1 cubes and adjust gain accordingly

Did some research.

Doesn't need anything overly large.

If you want a good mix prob 1.25-1.3cf if you want more extension Id say 1.5-1.6.
