SLAYER1805 Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 So a few weeks ago I saw the DD-1 locator map and I saw that bumonskateboard6 was tuning people's systems for free in my town and I messaged him on the spot! Really cool guy, he tuned my system and gave me a demo of his 2 DC Level 4 12's with DC Level 5 recones on a DC 3.5k. It sounded really clean and loud, he said it metered a 146 on a TL at a show that a local audio shop here in town that wasn't part of a division, just some comp going on. I edited and uploaded the video to YouTube after many technical difficulties with the uploader and my editing software, but I think the video came out nice, there's even some extras in there other than the demo like a DC 8" in a 4th order bandpass in a room and also a plasma speaker, it was a very interesting device that I've never heard of before! He has alot of audio goodness in his house! All in all he was a really cool guy who hooked me up with some audio goodness and I even got the chance to be in the presence of a Funky Pup! I will post the video on this thread when it shows up in my video manager on YouTube. Also he has big plans for a new build coming up involving a Suburban, well hopefully (Sorry man I couldn't help it) Once again thanks for everything man!

Short Update: After many weeks of hearing a rattling sub, its has gotten worse and is becoming less audible, the verdict; a very worn suspension plus a very burnt coil, its my first sub that I've had for 2 years (RF P1 12") and its been taking a beating plus clipped power for a while (tuned by ear) so next up is an Obsidian Audio 12" D4 on a MB Quart putting out 800 Watts RMS!
