Going active with Rockford Fosgate

I know its particularly aimed at Rockford but heres where I'm stumped.. In my new build I'm intending to use a t600.4 and t400.4 or just a few t400.4s to power my mid and high comp sets and either a t1500bdcp or t2500 for my subs. But can I go active with the t400 and t600? Do I need to do anything special aside from wiring off a relay? The active setups new to me and I haven't found a whole lot of 'how to' info on here.
