Dehubb Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 is the American Bass PH series any good? I was looking at the A/B ph4000 and was curious about it. i hear the brand is good.
zydrix Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 american bass makes great amps. an i have heard some good stuff about those amps. one being they are tiny so its good if u dont have much space an that they can take a beating. i have also heard that they are a little power hungry. what do u have for your electrical? an what will that amp be pushing? My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. (on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.
Dehubb Posted September 29, 2012 Author Report Posted September 29, 2012 Well im not that car audio inclined. but i have a pioneer deck screen, 4 15s Db drive platinum, and i have a kinetik 2400 battery.. I want to do a big 3 in my buick 2004 lesabre but im not exactly sure how to do it and dont want to mess things up. Im running 0gauge wiring

PardeTime Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 I just sold my ph4000md, was too power hungry. It clamped at 1300 watts.
