Trannys are shit on the tbss, I had a level 5 4l80e from "rpm trans" and put a 3000 stall converter on mine. Got a tranny cooler kit on there too haven't had any problems since. It did cost me a pretty penny though. When you convert to a 4l80e you have to shorten and lengthen the drive shafts mines an awd. Also different cross member, computer, and if yours if awd a different adapter for the transfer case. It was a lot of work but it was well worth it. Now I don't have to worry when I add more mods to the engine. Only person that I know from that makes the kit except the drive shafts is a company in san diego called left coast 32 his names joe great guy. If yours is awd you have to contact phoenix trans an they're the only ones that machine the adapter for the transfer case. Id talk to joe first and he'll give you the 411 and what you need to do.
