Going over maximum recommended box size by a littlee

I have 2 pioneer Tsw3002d4's and the max recommended box size is 1.6 cft and the box being built is 2 cft per sub in case I get different subs later. Will this be a problem?

With the power handling of a pioneer subwoofer, you have the potential to emit a nuclear explosion killing everyone in your entire city if you do that.. be smart and don't endanger everyone else.

But seriously, probably not. Usually with just a little bit extra it won't sound as good but it's not going to destroy the subs. Go too big, and you might damage the subwoofer though.

The larger enclosure will yeild a little more low end extension. Keep your power clean and youll be ok.
