Is it just me or does that mean the port runs along the side of the box? and if the port size got smaller the # of common walls wouldn't be three would it?

The port still bends. Ill draw it up in sketchup real quick so you can see it.

This is what it would have to look like to get all the specs you need. Im not sure how you are orienting it in your truck but yes the port will be "on the side"

why not put the port on the front of the box? unless there isnt enough space on the baffle for it.

It can be done. Just have to play with the design a bit. It would really help to know what the orientation in the vehicle is so that the woofer and port can be properly oriented in the box

Here is the space that I'm working with, but the 15 will be firing sideways towards the drivers side and the back will be to the passenger side of the truck.

I'll comment to add a design later. Best design in that truck is port up and sub up. I would do the L-port like others are suggesting. I'm at work and can't add a screenshot here, but I'll go home and do it. It's pretty straight forward to get an extended cab S-10 loud.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I tried that with the current box I have for my 15 and all I got was a crap load of roof flex lol. But either way the dementions are still the same I guess

Design a box that is SUPPOSED to be subs up and port up and you will be fine. Worst case, but some deadener, it won't take much with a good product. That sealed box is crap compared to what a slot ported enclosure tuned to about 35Hz would sound like.
