That's not my box I'm using right now, that's my first setup. I sold those and bought a 15 and its in a shit ported box tuned to god knows what right now

We will come up with a better one for sure. It's gonna be the 15" Type R? Is it one of the new style ones? I would like to know specs on the existing box and the port width Bd possible lengths of the L-section, along with depth of port before it makes the 90 degree turn along the back of the box.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

It's the type r 15 that's on Crutchfield so I'm assuming its the newest, and I'll get the current box measurements when I get off work. But the port doesn't even go all the way to the back of the box, let alone make a 90 angle turn haha

Ok, so I'm trying to draw my box in sketchup and I think I need to change my height to my width or something of the nature so that I can correctly draw my port out. Anyone get what I'm saying? The box is going to be taller than it is wide so wouldn't it be easier to design it with the port to the side of the sub and just flip it sideways once its built and put it in the truck with the port below the sub?

Here's the current box to describe kinda what I'm trying to build...

/edit

No more than20" from the side of the truck towards the middle of the truck, no more than 17 inches from the seat to the back wall, and no more than lets say 24" tall.

That box you have now is a prefab right? I am telling you, the best way to get it loud is port up/sub up. 24 inches would be the width going across the back of the cab, and then work with your height and depth at that point. I really like your numbers in the Torres, they seem solid to me. If you want a good visual, go to the RE Audio site and put your numbers in to their box calculator. Once you've got the numbers plugged in, picture that box with sub and port up :)

You really think port up/sub up will be louder? If I did that I could go bigger on the box if I needed to as well since itll only need to be the width of the sub from the seat to the back of the truck

Bought two sheets of 4x8 3/4" MDF wood, two tubes of liquid nail, a tube of silicone, and 3 inch wood screws and countersink tool, hopefully this will be built before next week is over!
