progress on the hood

got the front ....laid up...now on to the passenger side of the hood..

here you see the foil is down nice and smooth....and snug on the cowlcover... and fender....this will create my cutline...once the part is cured..

passenger side all wetted out.....and feathered into the front piece which has been blocked and roughed up...with 36 grit..

after curing.....i peeled away the foil....and blocked with 36 grit

glassed the cowl cover ,,,to the "new hood"

now let that cure....for about 24 hrs

after 24 hr cure on the car......pop it off..........

and stand it in the corner.....

this "base" of the hood..................is being layed up in sections....i didnt want to "pull" all these lines...at one time...woulda been a motherfucker

mapping out cut lines...with masking tape..
