WHere di you get this idea for the car? Not sure if i ever heard or read. Looks like the car from the movie the crow. There is a scene where he pulsl the girl of the skateboard and there is a candy orange cavi with the cowl hood. Looks sick tho. I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT FINISHED!

ithanks alot man......i kinda had a general idea....of what i wanted to do...in the begininning....even had a few sketches...but everything has changed dramaticly since then.....alot of it i really honestly just come up with and ...do as i go......

that right there is probably one of my favorite things about your fabrication projects. even that crazy off the chain dash you did, it still bolted right up (100% factory i think...if not it was close). and your console utilized factory spots to mount. sometimes that can be a hard thing to figure out imo. that helped me when doing my console. took it out, glassed a base over 4 factory screws, and that's what i'm using to hold it in place thanks for that btw lol

thank you very much chris....yep the dash used factory mounting points.....even the factory bolts...lol....as well as my console and just about every other part ive made for my car....most of the parts ive built for this car...from the whole interior.....to this whole bodykit...and front clip...........wil drop onto any other 88 to 94 cavalier....

my years of carpentry...kinda help me there.....in starting every thing from a solid foundation....and building my custom piece from there

.....in conclusion....even with all the bullshit that has gone on.....this motherfucker has come a long way over the last year...

at the very rear of the hood....I glued in a stick of 1/8" steel rod....this will be glassed in.....for a little more stiffness up there.....

passenger side...not glued down yet....

Now...the time has come to pop in the cetner pieces of the hood... here you can see they are "spot welded....lol""

with ca glue....

and some 1.5" x 1.5" temporary tabs.....glassed in

there is some duct tape....and a blob of fresh glass there.....1.5oz 5 layers thick
