davinci701
Would running 4 amps @2ohms each the same power of 2 amps @1ohm each. The 4 amps will amount to same power as the 2 but will be more effecient, neither because the have same amount of power or what? Just have to find out thanks
Raptorman
If I got this straight, the two amps would be more efficient on your electrical. But the four amps would be most efficient with box rise. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. Souldrop
I'm fairly certain the four amps will be more efficient overall. Either way you're going to get the approximately same amount of power from both setups, but the four amps amps will run with a higher efficiency at a higher ohm load. The 2 amps wired down to 1 ohms will produce same amount of power but will drain more of your electrical system's resources due to the lowered efficiency. As far as box rise others more knowledgeable than I will have to comment. I'm not saying I would buy 4 amps over 2, but I am just answering your question objectively. 1997 Lexus ES300 HU - Pioneer MVH 7350 Processor - Helix DSP Front Stage - JBL P660C Mid/high amp - Alpine PDX-F4 Subs - 1 IA Death Penalty 12 Sub Amp - Cactus Sounds PF300.
