I wouldnt get a cap i would get another battery caps dont do any good

caps do have there place in car audio, just not what people want to use them for though(ie, voltage dimming problems)

When dealing with a lot of voltage pull caps are no good I have lost db's every time ice installed one even a 20 faret cap hurt me bad with all the current and voltage I was pulling it would drain the cap in a second then my batt would have to charge the cap wile the amp was still trying to pull power that was low voltage to the max the 20 faret cap wouldn't even stop my lights from dimming

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

I would say HO alt, however caps do help, try the batcap 300 or 400 model they worked pretty well for me.
