WillPwn4Food Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 Okay, so recently I got a new setup... 2 Fi BTL N2's and 2 Planet Audio BB 2400.1's... Well I'm trying to strap the amps. Well when attempting to do so, I have no power to the subs. When I plug the speaker leads into each amps terminals they power (So obviously both amps work) but when I try to strap them, no power. I have the + speaker lead going to the Master amp's + terminal and - lead going to the slave amp's - terminal. The master is set to master, slave set to slave, with the datalink cable connecting both. Both power lights are on, and neither protection light is on. I have the remote spliced, going to both. What am I doing wrong....? The + lead should go to master's + and the - to the slave's +, then connect the two -'s on the amps, right? WillPwn4Food Posted October 26, 2012 Author Report Posted October 26, 2012 The one I got from Planet Audio with the amps doesn't show the - terminal on the master going to the - terminal on the slave. It showed the + speaker wire going to the + on the Master and the - speaker wire going to the + on the slave. The online manual shows the - on the master going to the - on the slave. FTL. Got it working now. Going from 500w to 4000 is insane.
