BASEheadDAN
Alright, i have lost my brain today and can't figure out if i can take out my power cable to my amp while it is hooked up to my battery and the car is off... I mean obviously when the car is on, i wouldnt think about removing it at all.. but when it's off you think i can remove it without disturbing any static charge that is built up in there?. I know this is probably a simple answer.. but im not here at all today.. so help out?.. k thanks.
Hunters21w
Yes you can. Just tape off the end so it doesn't arc off anything. If your removing the ground as well, make sure you keep the two wires away from one another. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
Guest
just pull the fuse before you remove it. Dont mess with having to tape it or anything like that cause the charge can still jump. Turn the car off, keep the ground in when you take out the power. pull the fuse and then pull the power.
