This is the build I was thinking would be good for the OPs truck too. Or a couple of 10s sealed firing down(or up). Stay away from the shallow mounted subs(the ones that are marketed as "shallow mounted"), they suck. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
DGross Posted November 1, 2012 Author Report Posted November 1, 2012 How much room do you have behind the back of the seats. We are making a box right now for 2-8's in my friends Silverado crewcab. If you had just 2-3 inches more you could fit VVX-8's or MA-8s. We managed to get 1.2ft cubed after displacements and tuned to 32hz. Wont do any 150's haha maybe a 120 is more realistic...but it should sound pretty good while doing it and kill his stock system. Would something like this be an option for you? Looks like its touching but the subs wont touch even at full excursion. Ported out either side with 2 1/2 inch ports. nah it has to go under the seats just enough space to stick my hand behind the back seat and the back of the seats dont fold out only underneath it
