Help With A Budget Build.....

Recommended Posts

Posted

I want to put a system in my 2000 Ford F-150 Regular Cab, I know theres not alot of room to work with as I am 6'1 . But i still want some bang, but i need it for the buck. So any suggestions on a sub (or subs) amp and box setup I could go with ? Let me remind you I am on a limited income right now and I pull in a little over 1000.00 per month (laid off) so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks !

Oh and to add to the post i have always delt with bigger subs, this is the smallest vehicle i have had as far as cab space behind the seat, so i have no ideal what smaller sub would sound at least decent for a daily driver in a cab of this size.

any idea on the budget? cause most bang for the buck can be relative :P for example, it's be sweet to get some sa 8's but $100+ per sub might be too much.

Yeah ive saw the sa 8s but had doubts never herd a set in person ya know. but i have the better part of the 1g to spend of the month. but as far as a box goes would there be any way to build a ported box? or would i have to go with a sealed box?

the sa 8's if i remember right have a tiny recommended box volume and so i think you could go either way, ported or sealed.

but i've never dealt with them myself so don't take my word :P
