How does reconing different subs change recommended tuning?

so i was just wondering, since my 12" HDC3's like a 36Hz tuning,

what would the new recommended tuning be, say if i reconed the softparts to a Sundown Z series?

tuning is specific to t/s specs and airvolume/car.

first get t/s specs then try different boxes based off the parameters

hmmm let me reword that. how would it change the FS of a subwoofer?

I'm pretty sure that if a subwoofer has a stiffer suspension, it will generally have a higher fs. But fs is also affected by the mass of the moving parts, so I'd say test it first
