well I just got done taking it for a test drive at 2.6 ohms and.............. It clips the same

I think I'm gonna sell the TR2000 and get (4-6) 1600 watt Power Acoustik Gothic Series OV2's. They were my next favorite amp, and I know they measure thier stuff in peak, but they are BAD ASS for the money! It's like 800 watts RMS for around $150 shipped. And if I try hard enough, I could probably get around $800-$900 for the TR200. (retail=$1500)

Well, I have 6 car batteries, and 50+ farads of capacitor on a stock alt. I haven't done the big 3 upgrade because I was waiting on some thicker wire. Do you think that would keep the amp from clipping?? If so then I'm gonna do the big 3 in 4 awg.

but how do you have your amp set? if its set properly it should not be cliping, or is it turning off, or going into protect mode?...

and instead of running 6 amps why not just get 2 pa3000ds and strap them at 2ohm since your at 2.6 or what not and go from there that should be plenty of power and much much eaiser to connect, and would only cost 500 shipped... vs the 650+ with 6 amps

x2 on the 2 amps as I'm positive they won't tax your electrical as much as the 6 would, also another good point about the gains being set properly.

The TXX-AP15RD subs are Dual 4ohm coils. Not 2.

So each sub has a possibility of 8 or 2 ohm.

Really, Is that the only configuration? That means that the 2.66 final ohm load is out the window.

**hangs head** man, you guys are all right. I should have known about the dual 4 ohm vc's. Well, I normally pick up on shit REALLY fast. Taking that into consideration, I'm going to wire it up differently. If you have any suggestions please throw them out there. I'll post up a diagram of how I wired it in a little bit

This is his best out, but is his amp 1 ohm stable. I don't know much about your amp but, it might do fine with impedance rise.
