How does changing stage effect subwoofer?

Recommended Posts

Let's say I have a high low converter hooked to the rear speakers and from there RCA to my amp. I change my stage setting from normal to live or hall or concert. If I bump my music can those settings clip of effect my sub or amp in a negative way or positive way? Just curious as I don't want to blow anything

It's an EQ setting, it will certainly effect anything connected to that channel. If it's good or bad depends on many things and no one can say unless we actually inspected it in person.

Or you can test it yourself with a keen ear or an O-scope.
