i like my georgia loger boots, with the thinsalate in them there great for summer and winter, my carolina boots didn't last to long, ive tried rockys but there not built as good as they used to be, for what your going to need, here you go

i like my irish setter boots, made by redwing, but i like the way they fit better. I also like diehard boots from sears. they have an insole that feels kinda hard, but my feet never hurt after a long work day, so that has to count for something.
