ccmotox99 Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 of course you'll have to beef up your power no matter which amp you go with.. Aside from an alternator (that's just not gonna happen right now) what upgrades should I do as far as electrical goes? Big three set up, I'd go with a battery in the back to reduce the head light dimming and all 1/0 gauge. That's how I'd do it. -playing with different setups
REVOofRustler Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 I actually have a fully loaded Q12 on a BC2000d and I love it! For electrical, I have my stock 136 amp alternator and an XS Power d2700 along with the big three. Right now I'll drop to very low 12's. Im gonna upgrade though to a Mechman 270 and then add a couple smaller XS Power batteries so that I can add a 4 channel amp without worrying about voltage. What do you have your gain set at for the q? I just used my DD-1 to set my gains with the -5 db 40hz track. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz
