Neckbeard Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 look at it this way. If your building a box, say the sub requires 3cubes. The sub still needs that 3cubes, and the sub puts a displacement of .5 cubes and the port provides .75 displacement. so your box needs to have 4.25. BUT the you need see the air in the port as a solid, so you dont need to include it in the total cubes. If that makes sense? ToNasty Posted November 16, 2012 Author Report Posted November 16, 2012 yes. so i got it down to 2.1 cubes. displacement of the sub and baffle for the port ads up to .21. which leaves me with 1.89. am i correct? ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Neckbeard Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 yes. So you need to increase the total to 2.31 Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/
