Mobile Rig Idea/Questions

Hey guys, I have 2 RF P310s in a 'huge' box. Size the subs call for is .50-.75cu.ft. They're in a box with each in a 1.5cu.ft. space at the moment. It doesn't sound bad, but looking at the numbers, it possibly could sound better.

Reason I've done on this research is because I'm trying to maximize my hatchback space while making it easy to move if I need even more space at the time.

My idea was to make 3 separate boxes. 2 each for my subs and one to house my battery cells and loose wire while acting as a mounting piece for my amps.

So, how will my sound be affected by shrinking the box down to recommended range? How will my sound be affected by making 2 boxes compared to 1 box with 2 chambers? What other factors should I be thinking about?
