Subaru Outback REBUILD! Fi Sp4's + AB 750.1

Alright guys, there has been some BIG changes made since the last time I've updated my build log..

Here are some pics of my car as it stands. I ended up getting a ticket for blacking out my lights, so It took me like 3 hours to get the nasty paint off of them..

There they are cleaned off for the most part..

And now some decals.

Next, there was some changes made to my mids and highs. Obviously I have a wall, so there was no need for my rear-fill speaker. I took them and put them into the front doors.

Then, I decided to make some changes to my LC-1 knobs. I was tired of having the so far away from each other so I decided to fab up a little panel in my consul for them.

Next are some pictures of the new amp. It's an AB 750.1 and will be ran at .5 ohms with gains set low.

I also got another battery so now there is two stinger SPV44's in the back now along with another positive run added.

Then I had to buy supplies for the new wall. I ended up not using the spray paint.

Also here is some pictures of the wood after we used a few sheets. There was 6 total.

Now comes the not so fun part.. tearing out the old wall.. It took a while because just like the new one, the last one was assembled inside of the car.

And now the fun begins! Huge shoutout to my buddy eric for helping me all day with the tedious assembly of this new wall. It's around 11-12 cubes tuned to 34-37. Hard to figure out but you'll see why.

We had to go over a little hump where the seats were.

Next we put the back baffle on. Keep in mind everything will eventually be double baffled.

Then comes the top. As you can see we used a piece of wood to hold it in place while we glued and screwed it together.

After we double baffled both of the sides top and back and added a few 45's in the process

Now it's time for the baffle, this was a huge pain. It is double baffled. One baffle sits inside the enclosure while the other sits on top and also acts like a very large beauty panel.

Cant even tell you how difficult that second panel was for us to make.... But it fits all around about .25 inches away from the sides of the car.

And then we centered the baffle and cut out the sub/port holes and added 3/8 and 5/8th inch all thread.

AND BAM! THE DC XL's along with the batteries and amps in the back!!!

Afterwards I filled in the screw holes and painted the box with some latex paint. It was tough to do without getting it all over the inside of the car. I also used weather stripping to fill the gap from the beauty panel that molds around the car.

Not 100% perfect yet but it's getting there!!

Bad news is I was a dumbass and popped one of the subs at a show because I didn't have my gains and SS filter set where they should have been and was playing WAY under tuning. Won't happen again and a recone is already ordered and will hopefully be here by the next show.

The last time I had this on the termlab it did a 150.6@38 on a quick sweep but thats all I wanted to do at the time. Nothing was adjusted, the wall wasn't sealed off, and all my little spl tricks and tips were not added at the time. I hope to have this doing 53's all day when all is said and done!
