Subwoofer smell.... HELP!

I have a Rockford Fosgate T1 12 wired at 1 ohm on a Rockford 750.1 with a birthsheet showing 910 RMS. The sub is 800RMS, and my gain is set at half way, the bass boost is at half way, and the bass knob is at or close to half way, my deck is usually set at 0-4 for the sub, the freq. is around 80-100ish and the subsonic is at 35-40ish... the problem is, the subwoofer after being played for a few minutes will all of a sudden start to put out a horrible burning smell, the box is 1.95 Cu ft and the port is a precision port with flared ends with a 4 diameter and 9 inchs long, straight off of rockford specs for this sub... what could be the horrible smell? Anything helps! Thanks!

turn the bass boost down to 0 and possibly turn down the subsonic filter as well

edit - and the problem is that you are clipping your sub, especially with the bass boost on half as well. and on your deck, set the sub level to 0.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.
