Sound Deadener question

I don't know anyone personally who has used Second Skin or any sound deadener for that matter so I don't know how well it actually works. I have one 15 that fires straight up into the deck and almost anytime a more then low note hits, I get some pretty bad rattle. My question is if I were to buy a trunk pack, and mainly just used it put three or four layers on the deck instead of all of the trunk since it fires straight up at, how much do you guys think that would help. Any suggestions on how to get that rattle to stop or any opinions from anyone who has tried this is greatly appreciated.

You don't need that many layers I think you would be good with just one layer of second skin

And you don't need 100% coverage

I would start with a 2-3 sq ft and see how it reacts then try to find the week spot the ones that rattle the most

I bought 20sq ft for my trunk of the regular damplifier . Works amazing . Had enough to cover my trunk lid and the rear deck TWICE . Amazing results .

Buy the wooden roller it will come in handy
