STEvil
what are max width and height measurements, and exact sub model and amp? MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. JesseyMclame
The amp is a Hifonics BXI2010, Sub is a custom built 18", Bed is 72" wide, but I'd like to keep it at 50", 17" tall, And it can be 33" deep. STEvil
What kind of power is the 18 rated at from the builder and did he give you any other specs on it? JesseyMclame
I got it secondhand but I was told 2k rms. it's never been stinky and is still stiff. 4" coil. Triple stacked mag. It's really identical to the AA Havoc, different basket tho. Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. Amps - (4) Crossfire C5 1700D's, MTX Thunder 5604(mids), PPI Art 300.2 (tweets) Batts - 4 91ah rear batts, 50ah batt up front. STEvil
Since you dont know any specs i'd go with a generic box about 7ft*3 and 35hz, unless someone else wants to chime in and suggest something else? JesseyMclame
Yeah. I had 2 that did well in a relatively small box. I was thinking 5-6^ft @ 33-34? JesseyMclame
And another thing is, since the sub's face is taller than my max height, what can I do with the box so it's all flush across ? JesseyMclame
Okay. I'm gonna try to mock up a design on my Own, and I'll swing it by you.
