port up is a good compromise. It still wont load quite like if you could fire the port back. I have done both and with the port back, it played so much lower. Can you at least post pictures for us?

No one said to fire the subs back, only the port back. Subs go up, port goes back. Airspace for cone control NEED to be considered if contemplating using that second amp.

If you are going to use both m4as, you need to be around 2.75-3ft3 net per sub. I know that sounds small, but out sub do very well in smaller boxes.

I like 14in2 of port per ft3 and I would tune around 35hz. That should give you the ability to play down to 28-30hz

I never said subs back I said port I can't because the box goes up against my batteries an thanks Cj for all the help gonna make the same box but just cage the port up as well as te subs an see what happens with 1 amp then add the other and see te difference

I'm not ignoring I am gonna buil a new box same dimensions but fire subs up port up with port at the bak going across the whole box at 3" wide by 38". I have 2 mechman 270 alt and 4 nsb90s with 4 1/0runs from alternator back it should be enough. I can't fire subs back like people are saying because telhe batteries will be right against the port an will interfere So that's my idea for now

So change of plans i just ordered 2 more 15's and doin a b pillar wall so I'm just gonna leave this box like this for now but thanks for the help
