battery guru please

Hello everyone.... I have a 2005 duramax crew cab that im revamping the system in.

the truck comes stock with two batteries (right now they are optima yellow tops) and i will be adding two more (which i have and are XS d3400s) plus a second alternator (which will mount in the factory location both will be gm HOs). the additional batteries will be mounted under the bed of the truck directly behind the cab. Inside the cab behind the rear seat will be two bus bars (one + one -) for hooking up all the amps, lighting, a couple fans and a power inverter.

My question is can someone tell me or post a link on how i would wire the battery circuit?

I want to do a big three upgrade in all 1/0

and would like to isolate the starting battery (which i believe runs parallel with the working battery up front) and use the other three for power.

Can I have two positive runs of 1/0 fused, from the working battery up front to the positive bus bar in the cab? Have a 1/0 run fused from each rear battery to the bus bar? Then have each rear battery grounded to the outside of the cab, while having the negative bus bar grounded directly to the cab on the inside? Or do i need to run the rear battery grounds directly to the negative bus bar in the cab then ground the bus bar?

Also. Do i need to ground the rear batteries to the frame as well?

Im trying to drill the least amount of holes through the cab but dont care how many as long as its right!!!

Just run 1/0 positive and ground cables directly from each alternator to each front battery. Then connect the two front batteries with 1/0 cable, and connect the front batteries to the rear batteries with 1/0 cable. one run from each front battery to the rear batteries for a total of two runs. Very simple.
