Ok so here is a suggestion for your subs on rated power:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34.5 Hz

Vb = 4.9 ft^3

External Height = 15 in

External Width = 46 in

External Depth = 19 in

Port Width = 3 1/2 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Top & Bottom = 46 x 19

Left & Right Sides = 17 1/2 x 13 1/2

Front & Back = 46 x 13 1/2

Shared Port Internal Assembly Parts:

2 x Top to Bottom = 11 3/4 x 17 1/2

2 x Extension = 4 1/8 x 17 1/2

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

Ill be running a 800w amp should that be enought for this box and whats the best hz tune to run with this set up, just new at the car audio world and would like to learn. And iv read that two ports on the outter edge of the box vs. A single port in the middle is loader is this true?

Changed the picture so that is less confusing, there's only one port in the middle, if you are giving 800W RMS to the pair, that's good power for them, I like the 34Hz tuning on those subs but it's a question of personal taste, I don't know where you read about the two ports in the sides being louder than a single in the center.

As far as taste i listen to rap for the bass i love bass im looking for loud bass not sure what tuning fq im looking for but 34 hz sounds good and as far as the port location i read online somewhere but i like the design of the box ima try to tackle it next weekend and just take my time. This will be my first ported box build but i have built many sealed enclosures. Thanks for the design i actually wanted you to build my box i was looking online at boxes and your design popped up several times thats actually why i joined this forum haha how cool

Ok i have a fosgate punch 800 running my subs now and they are wired into one channel (for some reason the other channel is way quiter) will this be enough power for the box you designed

Hi Van klan, your amp puts out 400W per channel into 2 ohm, so your subs should be wired to 2 ohm final load, not less, in regards the enclosure, it's at maximum size recommended for those subs and nearly the maximum size you can fit in your vehicle so I wouldn't really think of changing it, you should check if the amp is faulty or if it is receiving a weak signal on one channel. If the amp failed at some point the MB Quart onx1.1000d amplifier is really cost effective and could easily drive both of your subs to a 1 ohm load (if they are D4).
