Jgrizz Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 So I'm going to be running 4 sundown audio sa-8v.2 going to be doing a build log or whatever they are called, soon. Till then I need some answers. I am new to electrical updates because running one of these 8's doesn't require upgrades unless your pushing it with an NS-1 1. I am going to run an extra battery a kinetic HC 1800, will this suffice with 2.5k watts? 2. I drive a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and wanted to just add another alternator dedicated to the system itself, i figure this will be cheaper than buying an HO alt because I can get a stock one from a junkyard. My question is does anyone know if I can mount a second one in my jeep? Think thats it for now, thank you!
Mlcantin Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 You can mount many alternator for your grand cherokee you will just a bracket made if you are going to use two alts or more. And I would go with a d3400 bro for the battery
