Wiseracing2
I have found that I dont have enough port area, i have the right volume, but not enough area...So in my Torres tuning calculator i found that i could add a second 4 in port at 16 inches in length and have .27 cu ft of volume when and 15 square inches of port area at 42hz. My sub recommends .07 cu ft of port volume and with my 1 4in port at 9 inches in length, it gives me .07 cu ft but only 7 square inches of port area which ive read isnt enough at 39hz. So whats better? Lower port area or higher port volume? Whats a negative to, to much port volume? Thanks!
