DynamikT Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Hi all, just ordered 2 10" HX2's off ebay, (RF) dual 2 ohms. Ill be powering them in-doors when i get them (or should i say if i get them, you never know) with a pa amp that puts out at least 800 rms at 8 ohms so they will get 400 each. I know these are said to take up to 1000 rms each of clean power, but seeing as i can only provide 400 to each, will that be enough to get at least 60-70% of their potential? They will be going in a pre-fab slot port box. Thanks all. Paid 80 pounds for the pair (used of course), which is about 150 dollars in the us i believe? Might sound a little high, but here in the uk, rf equipment is overpriced as its not really as common here as the mainstream brands.
