Wow, BARGAIN. Its ashame here in the UK we have a limited choice Also subs/amps are much more expensive..!

Never seen an install with batteries in the doors but im sure it would look pretty nice with plexiglass. Thanks for your help. I was just wondering what would be the max it can power.
-
wtf? how did you decipher that? lol. i never would have guessed. sure a battery like that will work, i used the same battery to run some small amps. however you will want a battery charger to keep the battery charged (obviously). just get a small automatic charger that will go from charge to float by itself. Thanks! Do you think it would stay stable at around 12/13v with a 1000 rms monoblock?
-
Hi, this battery will be ran in the house in a room, not in a car.. Do the problems which you mentioned still apply?
-
Hi all, i was wondering if using this sealed audio battery in doors for running car audio equipment (nothing power hungry) is safe... It's sealed so i dont know if that would make a difference safety wise. http://www.dvbcaraudio.co.uk/shuriken-skbt20-audio-battery-850amps-20ah-p-9088.html Thanks.

I read somewhere in the comments he has around 12 Xplod subs(alluminium coned version), which could explain the power shown in the video but yes its all in the quality of the install for the most part.
-
Hey all, saw this video on youtube moments ago and felt i just had to share it with you all. This guy has done a 'professional' install and has installed multiple sony subs/amps, everything is sony pretty much.

Might be a bit odd for a typical rapper to name their song 'I Hate Myself' but i thought i'd post it anyway, i don't usually make threads. This sounds great if you have a good system, listen to the full song. Link below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcSfimbLDZs

I wish these were available in the UK

Its called boss for a reason
-
wow thats actully reallycool to know. and on to a dumb question. the reason my im getting a new radio is becuase my sony seems to clip even at low volume levels. can tht be because its old and falling apart? or i wont know untill i hook up a o scope to it? Nope old sony hu's tend do that whats the model number? If it has a d-bass function then the clipping should be from that

Congrats.

I saw this enclosure and i can get it for a pretty decent price. I was wondering if anyone had heard these before and will they sound good with the lows on songs such as bass testers? Thank you very much.
-
Thanks a lot!
-
Its like really heavy distortion but it doesnt sound like distortion? I cant describe what it sounds like. Imagine the cone hitting the magnet, it sort of sounds like that
-
Well i never said this setup was serious or anything but thanks for the advice, main thing i just wanted to know why subs struggle to hit the lows when they come in (turned up loud) no matter what amp being used
-
I think you're right its a pre-fab ported box, it sounds great on low volumes untill i turn it up. And you all will probabally laugh but here is the link = http://www.audiomate.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=L042C Thanks.
-
My 15" sub cant take the lows from the bass remix of luniz i got five on it, i want to know if this is down to clipping or just the sub cant take the low sounds at decent volumes. What is this mainly down to and how can i overcome this? Thanks.
-
Unfortunately its another typical mainstream album, but thanks for the post.
-
Which will push my P2 15" the hardest, thanks. Here is a link to the GZ amp, http://www.audioassault.co.uk/Amps/Two_Channel_Amps/Ground_Zero_Iridium_GZIA-2230HPX_2_Channel_Amp.

You do know its not safe to keep a battery running indoors, i want to do the same thing but its very dangerous isnt it
-
Hi, i need some help here, on my alpine 4 channel amp i have a pre-out, now i want to know if this will send out a full range signal to another amp or will it send out what i tell it to via the switches, etc, low filter or high filter which the alpine amp does have. Thanks a lot.

I dont see why some people have to do this, what car do you have?
