Truconcept
i thinks your subs would be better displaced if you moved the box back so theyre 5-6inches away from the back hatch but idk for sure **actin bad like a kid at six flags**

mistasiko187
I found 2 more alpine type r 12's at the pawn shop that I will be getting so I'll be starting over. I just have to find a bigger box.I don't have the time or the patients to build my own so I'll be getting another prefab.
stroupe79
its worth the pain in the ass to build a box rather than using a prefab, let alone hunting down a 4 12s prefab that will fit in your vehicle http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
Truconcept
your robbing your subs of air by putting them in a prefab better hope u dont cook a coil every sub has its own port and box size recommendations cause thats what they perform best at by putting them in a prefab your selling them short u really suffocate your subs id be very careful with type r's i know 4 ppl irl who have blew them and dude building a box is a fun/easy experience, every car audio fan should at least try and u have the best place 2 ask any questions (this forum!) 5-6 inches away will not rob the port of air take a look at steve meade's port on his tahoe looks like 5-6 inches **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
Rich Schenk
Just bought the same truck. Came across your build looking nice you ever put those 4 12s in there.
