I dont plan on getting a high output alternater at these current prices. I was actually looking for something under what the 1500d is capable of because i know i cant get the full potential out of it with stock electrical, but i figured if i monitor voltage, it will make the amp last longer PREPARE TO BE BLOWN AWAY Scott is Scooter and Scooter is Scott they sir are one in the same. You don't need to run rms to own a sexy ass sub. Think about it like this its a custom built (by a pro) DC sub that is both one of a kind and sexy as fawk. It would be a carnal sin not to buy the sub. Therefore I move for Wellington to purchase Scooter's sub ALL IN FAVOR say I I That is great and all, but you wouldnt get a 500w sub if your amp cant even do half that. ACCOMPLISHED I been running subs under rms for awhile hell my Z's now are on my TX1.2600 craving to be given some real power. WIth a sub that big it only gives you room to grow not to mention @ .5 ohm on good electrical that amp will make that sub very happy. Having a sub like this only gives you the inspiration to want better for yourself. I believe in you, you just gotta believe in yourself buddy You see what I did right there? Ive ran my 12w3 on 300w rms clean power from the mrp m500 in 4 ohm.
