Here is what i have so far its going in my dakota sub up port up, port on the driver side. For power right now i have an aq2200 but im ugrading to some kind of 3500w amp just havent decided which. I think this box should be golden for this sub

I would probably double baffle a box on a sub like that. I also think that's a lot of port area per foot for as low as its tuned. If you're gonna give it 1000W over RMS, that needs to be considered with box design. Airspace might need to be shrunk if you're considering hammering it with 3500W.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I never factor double baffle into my designs. I always just slap a baffle on after the main part of the box is done. In this case I'm planning on double baffle, top front and sides with a couple dowels for bracing. Forget about the 3500 I can always build a new box. Would this design be ok on my 2200 or should try to shrink it a little?

I think the design looks really good. The only part I would tweek is the port area per foot. Tuned as low as 31Hz I don't know that the sub you're using really needs 16 square inches per foot. 14ish might be a little better. So a 3 inch port maybe instead of 3.5, or maybe even 3.25?

It's 31.96 lol I rounded up. Ill punch those number in when I get home and see what it looks like. I was wanting to do a 4th order but I copped out and decided to just do regular slot port

Alright if I drop the port to 3 instead of 3.5 it drops the tuning to to 29 hz. If I drop the length from 34.75 to 30 it goes up to 33hz and 15.25 sq inches per cube
