CleanSierra Posted December 19, 2012 Report Posted December 19, 2012 Explain better your last post. You want 23 what? And you don't tune a 4th order low like that the enclosure(with right audio equipment) will be able to allow the LOW frequencies to be reproduced, but you don't actually tune that low. Mid 40s tuning is pretty typical in 4th order bandpasses. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
kingofslowbass Posted December 19, 2012 Author Report Posted December 19, 2012 so with the port i should do it longer not as wide? 94 z28 m6 cyber gray metallic custom pant with white strip black ss wheels and spoiler 249whp 295trq. in progress is a 4th order with 2 Obsidian 15s for SBN so subscribe to my youtube kingofslowbass to watch it all go together.
CleanSierra Posted December 19, 2012 Report Posted December 19, 2012 Longer port equals lower tune. I can't really give any advice without knowing dimensions to be able to satisfy a bunch of different criteria. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

321slapinbass Posted December 23, 2012 Report Posted December 23, 2012 last time i built a 4th i tuned it to 45hz and could play down to about 28hz. so i would suggest that you do not tune to anything lower than like 40hz. i would personally do 45 though because tuning really low gets boring really fast because you cannot play any normal songs that you would hear on the radio. 2000 Dodge Durango Subs - (2) SKAR VVX 15 D2's Box - 7.2 ft^3 @ 33hz, 120 in of port Sub amp - Digital Designs M2 @ .5 ohm Mids + Highs - PRV Audio Mids + Highs amp - Hifonics 2000.4 Headunit - Alpine CDE-100 Equalizer - Clarion EQS746 Batteries - Mopar group 27 + (2) C&D 52ah Wiring - 1/0 BIG 3, (2) runs 1/0 Alternator - Singer 250A 147.79 dB @ 35hz - burp - sealed on dash 147.47 dB @ 35hz - music - sealed on dash YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/321slapinBass/videos
