Need help

I turned off all filters on HU... I get the sound I want of of subs in current box but only when sending overloaded/clipped signal... For instance... Play song with amp putting out 42.24 v clean signal sounds like one 10"... Play same song with amp putting out around 56v dirty signal and sounds like I have thunder going off in my car, bass so loud it vibrates your throat and makes the shirt I'm wearing vibrate

Do you have your grounds on tight?

I was reinstalling an amp for my friend and his ground was touching but not connected well everything turned on sub move but no out put

And it also happen to me Ieverything turned on but it went into protect the ground was making contact but not bolted down
