CleanSierra Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 BTW, if you're all about buying subs and putting them in the box you currently have, you'll likely be disappointed. Those SAs will not be able to shine and show you what they're about in the box you have now. So for like the 6th time, new sub enclosure for the subs you have now(and also built to handle future subs) and sit back with your jaw dropped at frequencies you didn't know were there! Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
kaydennicholson Posted January 10, 2013 Author Report Posted January 10, 2013 Thanks for the input but still need to know: 2 JL 12w6s or 2 SA12s?): and i know there are soooo many people holding their ground on their brands(:
CleanSierra Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 Thanks for the input but still need to know: 2 JL 12w6s or 2 SA12s?): and i know there are soooo many people holding their ground on their brands(: You're gonn turn this into a vs. thread and about EVERYONE on this forum is gonna back the SA12s, including myself. You need to start listening though and realize different subs will gain you nothing. A box will be where you start, not the purchase of 2 more subs to load into a shitty prefab. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
kaydennicholson Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Posted January 11, 2013 okay thanks everyone, not trying to make it a vs thread. Think I've made up my mind. Even though from what i have heard the JLs hit the lower notes better, I think I'm going to get a custom box to drop in 2 SA12s and maybe even see if i can pick up another Alpine PDX 1000 somewhere (or would that be too much power)? Also I will do the custom box first before selling/switching subs. however do you think i will be happy with the REs? and if not then will the SA12s make that difference? as if it would, i would like to tell the company to make the box leaning more toward the preparation of putting in SA12s THANK YOU ALL FOR THE INPUT!! and the guy at the place i was at (Dedona Tint and Sound in Greensboro, NC) suggesteddropping a 4GA power wire from battery to alternator and to run 0 GA from the battery to the amp (amp in trunk, battery up front, currently running 4GA) any comments?(:
