i need help designing a box for a single americanbass hd12d1, it will be powered by two audiopipe ap1500s. The box i had it in was about 1.8 cubes net tuned low 30s and i loved it but i had port noise. the box is going in a 2005 cavalier in the trunk firing back for now. max width of 36 and height of 15.5 would like tuning about 32hz. thanks for the help in advance

Try rounding off your ports. In and out

i did but didnt do any 45s

how much port area did you build the box with. thats the most important thing.

i dont remember i got rid of the box

So here is a suggestion, only 34Hz tuning:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34 Hz

Vb = 1.83 ft^3

External Height = 15 in

External Width = 34.5 in

External Depth = 14 in

Port Width = 2 3/4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front = 31 x 13 1/2

Front Internal = 29 1/2 x 13 1/2

Back = 34 1/2 x 13 1/2

Left & Right Sides:

Side 1 = 12 1/2 x 13 1/2

Side 2 = 13 1/4 x 13 1/2

Top & Bottom = 34 1/2 x 14

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 9 3/4 x 13 1/2

Extension = 26 x 13 1/2

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):
