Jessica Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 If you run close to a wires capacity it will get hot and lose its ability to conduct, which makes it get hotter which reduces it ability to conduct.... its a vicious cycle.. ( there's a pun in there somewhere.) I agree with these guys I've never been a huge fan of cca but if it works how can i argue. If you plan on adding to your current system (another pun) then id go with ofc. If you have the room for 2 runs of cca then you'd have room for 2 runs of ofc later on. just my .02 EDIT* as for a brand id go with knu, they've got quality product that does'nt dissapoint I find myself giving great advice like that, then when i get out my checkbook i often find that "great" is a good alternative to "best."
