Help Designing Subwoofer Box

i have the rockford fosgate 12'' p3 dvc dual 4 ohm subs, how would i hook them up to a fosgate 800a2 amp?? also what would be the best box, i have a huge chevy passenger van??

Here is a suggestion, any changes let me know:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 35 Hz

Vb = 6.9 ft^3

External Height = 21 in

External Width = 46 in

External Depth = 20 in

Port Width = 28 in

Port Height = 3 1/2 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 46 x 20

Left & Right Sides = 18 1/2 x 18 3/4

Front & Back = 46 x 18 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 15 x 29 1/2

Extension = 1 x 29 1/2

Port Left Side Assembly:

15 x 3 1/2

5 1/4 x 3 1/2

Port Right Side Assembly:

15 x 3 1/2

5 1/4 x 3 1/2

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

JoeX, this is the style of box i want to use for my four 15's in my Astro Van W 50" D 40" H 28" . Height isn't really a concern. Plenty of room.

Okay, I am building a box for four RF P1S415. I want them facing upward with a vent at bottom of enclosure. Max W is 50" Max D is 20" & H isn't a problem. I'm installing it in a 1994 Chevy Astro Van. Help!

Okay, still no advice on this build. Anyone have suggestions?

So here is a suggestion, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 6", figure is just an assembly guide:

JoeX, This is what i was looking for. Checked your measurements to the van. It should fit with 3rd row seat in. Thanks for the advice. I'll post pics of the build once i start.
