Heres a very good step by step for the 67-72 c10's. It is a relatively easy process and can be done in a weekend if your skills are good enough. My frame for my C10 started life as a long bed, then we made it into a shortbed. Since then it has been completely rebuilt using 2x3 mandrel box tubing, Porterbuilt front crossmember and a one-off catilever rear. But this link has a good step by step process and is done by a reputable magazine.
