Voltage drop...

Hey Guys,

if got a prob with my 2 Kinetiks HC 2000,

when close the car and after 2hours the Voltage drops to 12.5V.

My Alt does 14.3V cont at low rpm. do you think the batts are dead, (no amp installed) and there is no current leak...

i already charged them 2 times in a week but no diference..

Please help out.

Any accessories on? Parasitic draw maybe? A fully charged battery should be at ~12.8v

Sounds like your batteries just need a charge.

Prob not time for new ones, unless you beat on them and kill them every day.

And one thing more when i start the car the voltage drops sometimes to 11,4 and less.

I would address your power issue before you put a 5K amp in your car.

To get the full 6.7kw youll need a strong 16V going to it.

i know, im not gettin it tomorrow ....

car is bmw e46 325i

0 Gauge from alt back to batts.

Ground Wire as well.

for daily i run it +/-14V
