Mobileaudio25 Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 I currently have an xs power 1200 right now and I need another battery for my setup... 1987 old delta 88... Xs power recommends a 915 under the hood for stock size, but I'm pretty sure I can fit larger. I know my 1200 will fit under the hood. 180alt amp. 0ga wiring and 2500rms. Should I put my 1200 under the hood and put a big battery in the back? Or should I put a 915 up front and a 1200 in the back? Suggestions/opinions?

Mobileaudio25 Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 I want to power 5k watts total. So 2500 rms. I can run this battery parallel with my xs power battery right? Will 2 of these and an xs power 1200 under the hood be enough for 5k watts?
Watch the bass Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 If the 5 K watt´s are the 2500 RMS (the only intresting watt´s) you will be very fine with your 180 amp alt and the batt´s. Mobileaudio25 Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 I have an agm charger but yes I am only 2500 a rms. just picked up 2 of them. Thanks a lot, 10 more expensive than the battery I was going to buy, but 1.5 times more power. I can just run 1/0 to the trunk and ground these batteries in the trunk right? And I can safely run these with my xs since it's an agm correct?
