Alrighty. Hey guys Im new to all this audio/bass/trunk hithard stuff lol. One of my friends has these 2 MTX Jackhammers 600 watt 800 peak subs. Ever since i heard those i wanted to get my own system I don't want 15,18 I just want a basic system. Im fine with 2 12's i want something that hits hard loud bass that people can hear. I want to ask a few questions because one of my friends told me to visit this site and ask questions maby you guys can help me?

Okay, I orderd 2 12'in Kicker

  • 12-inch CompVR Subwoofer with 2-ohm impedance
  • Injection-molded cone with 360-degree back bracing and aluminized coating; ribbed Santoprene surround
  • 400 Watts RMS (800 Watts peak) power handling
  • 25-500 Hz frequency respons

I have no fu**king clue what that means, like I siad im new to all this... -_-.

There was to options 2-ohm or 4-ohm so I went with 2-ohm thinking they where a better product IDK!..

Are these subs good for what Im looking for? Hard/smooth bass good sound I know it all depends on the box what kind of box should I get ported or sealed?

I like old school rap like the game 2pac BIG MOBB DEAP and some new school rap whats a better box?

Okay.. So I plan to buy this amp right here its called. Whats the difference between 2ohm and 4ohm?

Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D D-Class Mono Block 1 x 450 @ 4 OHMS, 1 x 900 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 1200 @ 1 OHM

Im guessing this amp supports my 2 subs... because it says 2 ohm, x 1200

Im also trying to get the 4 gauge wiring kit. Does 1 single kit work? or do I need 2 wiring kits? for the two subs?.

Is these a nic setup for a newbie to all this or is is garbage. My friends system is pretty good its about a 600$ system im also planning to go 600$ heres a video on hes setup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdqzZesJHS8

Hope you guys can help me a bit..

Is it too late to cancel the order for the kickers?

Honestly you need to do alot of research man, About 80% of what you said is wrong.

1 x 450 @ 4 OHMS, 1 x 900 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 1200 @ 1 OHM

its a class D. the ohm rating is just the power/impedance

Hard/smooth bass -Not with a kicker.
